Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This private reference is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Neither these pages nor anything returned by a linked third-party tool may be used for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another decision governed by the FCRA.
How Current Is the Information?
Rolls are corrected, portals and fees change, library collections are digitized, and coverage descriptions can move as projects advance. The pages are maintained in good faith, but no fact is guaranteed to remain accurate or complete. Confirm a record, fee, or access rule with the custodian before relying on it.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing here is legal advice. The pages point to record sources and describe how Santa Monica rolls and directories generally work; they are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
Lawful Use Only
Public rolls support transparency, not harm. Do not use information reached through these pages to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or hurt anyone. Misuse may violate California law, including stalking provisions in Penal Code §646.9 and identity-theft provisions in Penal Code §530.5, as well as federal law. It also violates the Terms of Use.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some search boxes are powered by outside companies. Santa Monica Residents Directory does not control what those tools return, charge, or do with submitted data. Their results are not FCRA-compliant consumer reports.
Outbound Links
Links may lead to the Los Angeles County Assessor and Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, California election and vital-record services, Los Angeles Superior Court searches, Santa Monica Public Library collections, archives, and similar resources. External sites control their own content, accuracy, terms, and availability.
No Government Records Hosted Here
These pages store no government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital record. They point to the offices, libraries, and portals that maintain those materials. To obtain, verify, or correct a record, contact the responsible custodian directly.
